Storage Solution Architect who will play Key role in Storage CoE , the role will involve providing Storage technical design and project implementation support and Storage development services (Projects), Conduct and/or participate in presale product presentations, demos, customer evaluations and thought leadership, portfolio realignment.

  • Provide tier 3 support in troubleshooting Storage hardware, software and application related problems at different court locations working closely with vendors.
  • Provision new LUNs, Partitions and Volumes.
  • Architect and Define multi-site backup and replication solutions
  • Lead efforts in testing and evaluating new systems.
  • Lead efforts in the design, testing and implementation of new systems architectures.
  • Assist applications group with database performance related problems.
  • Review the SAN Fabric and Storage Arrays for any new anomalies that may have occurred.
  • Maintain technical currency on SAN storage (firmware and software) switch fabric (firmware) and host bus adapters (firmware).
  • Establish proactive management platform for SAN Storage and switch fabric including real time alerting.
  • Create regular performance and health reporting for the SAN storage and switch fabric including disk and port capacity, CPU and I/O utilization.
  • Develop SAN and fabric procedures and work instructions for the operations team to monitor alerts, create tickets and take remedial action when appropriate.
  • Demonstrated expertise supporting an Enterprise backup/recovery application e.g. Avamar, DataDomain, Asigra, or HP Data Protector.
  • Knowledge of EMC, NetApp, Hitachi VSP or other enterprise storage.
  • Knowledge of Fiber Channel, SAN/NAS technologies and protocols including CIFS and NFS
  • Experience and knowledge of UNIX (SUN, AIX, Linux) and Windows.
  • Establish governing principles for storage design and deployment & BCDR needs.
  • Continually update understanding of business and technology status and objectives and respond to strategic design requests as the business evolves.
  • Support the operation of the Business Continuity plan as it relates to ongoing processes around backup, recovery practices, media management, and long term retention procedures.
  • Support Disaster Recovery planning, and testing initiatives.
  • Windows System Administrator- L2 & L3 Support, for data center administration.
  • Should have sound knowledge and expertise on installation and configuration of Windows 2008/2012 operating system.
  • Administration, Installing, Configuring and Managing AD / DHCP / DNS / IIS Services & Windows Active directory.
  • Experience on Installation / Configuration/ troubleshooting Server operating system 2008 & 2012.
  • Administration and Troubleshooting of ISA, Antivirus and remote management (RDP).
  • Installation and Configuration of Domain Controllers.
  • Microsoft Exchange concepts, Public folder administration and troubleshooting, - Mailbox administration.
  • Experience with managing Active Directory setups.
  • Experience with the various Windows protocols & services ( DNS, IIS, RDP).
  • Working experience on MS exchange server.
  • Experience on VMware and Could Computing.
  • Experience on Patch Management.
  • Must have knowledge on NAS, SAN storage & EMC Networker backup.
  • Should be familiar with Business Copy (BC), Continuous access (CA), Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) concepts.
  • Should Have experience in installing & configuring Backups using tape libraries.
  • Should have experience in designing a complete backup solution for customers along with hands on experience in backup solutions like Veritas Netbackup, IBM Tivoli Storage manager, HPData protector or CA Arcserve.
  • Knowledge on configuring zones.
